In honor of Billie Jean King’s commitment to furthering women’s sports, Gainbridge® and WSF® are also awarding a $50,000 grant to the Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities — an organization that embodies the spirit of inclusion and accessibility that drives this initiative.
The Caitlin Clark Foundation — founded by Gainbridge® ambassador and WNBA star Caitlin Clark — will also receive a $22,000 grant, recognizing its work to uplift youth through education, nutrition, and sports.
In honor of Billie Jean King’s passion for tennis and commitment to furthering women’s sports, Gainbridge® and WSF® are also awarding one special $50,000 grant to the Junior Tennis Foundation (the charitable arm of USTA Eastern) to help resurface tennis courts and establish community tennis programming at the Eisenhower Park in Long Island, New York. Eisenhower Park is meaningful to King and WSF® as it was a longtime headquarters of WSF® from 1986-2017 before the Foundation’s offices relocated to New York City.

EMPOWERING GIRLS & WOMEN THROUGH SPORTS & EDUCATION

Gainbridge® Assists, formerly Parity Week, launched in 2023 to celebrate and amplify girls and women through sports and education. In 2024, $172,000 in grants were awarded to 22 organizations across 15 states, representing 14 different sports.
During The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican LPGA Tour event, Caitlin Clark received the 22nd grant for $22,000 to the Caitlin Clark Foundation. The WSF awarded a $50,000 grant to Eisenhower Park in Long Island, New York. The grant is being used to renovate the tennis courts to improve playing opportunities and provide more programming for thousands of young girls.
In 2024, the grants impacted over 5,000 girls and women, providing opportunities to pursue their athletic and educational goals.
“I founded the Women’s Sports Foundation® in 1974 with a $5,000 check and a mission to provide access and opportunity for future generations of girls and women in sports. In celebration of the foundation’s 50th anniversary, Gainbridge®, Parity, and the Women’s Sports Foundation® are teaming up to create a movement that will benefit girls and women through sports and education. These grants, which are a highlight of Parity Week, are the seeds to create long-term positive impact for so many girls and women, in sports and in life.”
BILLIE JEAN KING
“By championing organizations and athletes that support women and girls in sports and education, we are supporting causes that prioritize inclusivity and community – both on and off the playing field. Aligning with Gainbridge® ambassador and equality champion Billie Jean King and the Women’s Sports Foundation® is a way to make a positive and long-term impact on women and girls in sports and education.”
DANIEL TOWRISS | CEO & PRESIDENT, GROUP 1001
“Our organization exists to elevate and support women competing in all sports. This remarkable, diverse group of grant recipients came to the table with bold initiatives that will help the next generation of girls and women pursue their athletic dreams in fencing, track and field, motorsports, football, and so much more. We are honored to partner with Gainbridge® for the second annual Parity Week, and we can’t wait to see our grant recipients’ visions become reality in November.”
