Most professional women athletes are not earning a sustainable income through their sport alone. In fact, 78% report making $50,000 or less, and 50% earned no net income after accounting for out-of-pocket expenses related to their sport. These realities underscore the ongoing financial strain on women athletes, even as their influence grows.

To make ends meet, 74% of women athletes hold additional jobs alongside rigorous training schedules.
