BILL SHELTON

Co-Founder

"There are many people who are financially successful. There are also many people who do good in the world. I’m trying to do both at the same time."

  • Feminist
  • Numbers-driven
  • Former track All-American and American Record holder

Bill has spent his life building things – businesses, advocacy groups, even his own athletic success. And at Parity, he empowers athletes to build their careers.

Before his 15 years on Wall Street, where he worked at JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank, Bill founded Bingwa Software Company, Inc., whose products are used in school systems nationwide. He also founded the Legislative Draft Institute for Child Protection, and serves on the board of multiple non-profits and at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business – where he earned his MBA and designed a case study series on gender inequality that is now taught in business schools across the country.

Bill was a standout track athlete at Texas A&M, held the M50 American Record in the 4x400 meter relay, and is a Penn Relays and Millrose Games champion. At Parity, his innate desire to help others has merged with his athletic background to help athletes build a better future for themselves. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his fiancé, Joy.
