Gainbridge® is proud to partner with Parity and the Women’s Sports Foundation® (WSF) to champion opportunities for girls and women through the Gainbridge® Assists Powered by Parity grant program.

Formerly known as Parity Week, this initiative is part of Gainbridge's broader mission to transform communities through the power of sports and education. In 2024, Gainbridge®, Parity, and WSF awarded $172,000 to 22 organizations, positively impacting more than 5,000 girls and women nationwide.

This year, we're expanding our reach, and our impact, with a total of $222,000 in grants to be awarded.

GRANT RECIPIENTS

From over 150 applications, the below organizations and athletes were selected. They represent 13 states and Washington, D.C., and 14 sports. Each grant recipient will receive $5,000 in honor of Gainbridge® ambassador, sports icon, and social justice pioneer Billie Jean King, who started WSF® 50 years ago with a $5,000 check.

In honor of Billie Jean King’s passion for tennis and commitment to furthering women’s sports, Gainbridge® and WSF® are also awarding one special $50,000 grant to the Junior Tennis Foundation (the charitable arm of USTA Eastern) to help resurface tennis courts and establish community tennis programming at the Eisenhower Park in Long Island, New York. Eisenhower Park is meaningful to King and WSF® as it was a longtime headquarters of WSF® from 1986-2017 before the Foundation’s offices relocated to New York City.

Gainbridge® Assists, formerly Parity Week, launched in 2023 to celebrate and amplify girls and women through sports and education. In 2024, $172,000 in grants were awarded to 22 organizations across 15 states, representing 14 different sports. Each recipient received a minimum of $5,000.

During The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican LPGA Tour event, Caitlin Clark received the 22nd grant for $22,000 to the Caitlin Clark Foundation. The WSF awarded a $50,000 grant to Eisenhower Park in Long Island, New York. The grant is being used to renovate the tennis courts to improve playing opportunities and provide more programming for thousands of young girls.

These grants have collectively impacted over 5,000 girls and women, providing opportunities to pursue their athletic and educational goals.

“I founded the Women’s Sports Foundation® in 1974 with a $5,000 check and a mission to provide access and opportunity for future generations of girls and women in sports. In celebration of the foundation’s 50th anniversary, Gainbridge®, Parity, and the Women’s Sports Foundation® are teaming up to create a movement that will benefit girls and women through sports and education. These grants, which are a highlight of Parity Week, are the seeds to create long-term positive impact for so many girls and women, in sports and in life.”

BILLIE JEAN KING

Aligning with Gainbridge® ambassador and equality champion Billie Jean King and the Women’s Sports Foundation® is a way to make a positive and long-term impact on women and girls in sports and education.”

DANIEL TOWRISS  |  CEO & PRESIDENT, GROUP 1001

We are honored to partner with Gainbridge® for the second annual Parity Week, and we can’t wait to see our grant recipients’ visions become reality in November.”
