JAIDE STEPTER BAYNES

Manager, Client Services and Brand Design

As an unsponsored but high-performing athlete, the Parity mission deeply resonates with me and I've been able to see firsthand how the entire team worked tirelessly to get women athletes (including me!) paid. Now, it’s a full-circle moment to be on the other side supporting women like myself who are balancing elite performance with the fight for pay equity."

  • Krav Maga Orange Belt
  • Furthest race I've ever run: 5K at 20 weeks pregnant

Jaide Stepter Baynes is a retired professional track and field athlete and World Champion who brings the same passion and discipline she honed on the track to her work in design and marketing. A long-time fan of Parity, Jaide is excited to join the team full-time as Manager, Client Services and Brand Design.

As the team captain at the University of Southern California, Jaide specialized in the 400 meter hurdles where she earned nine All-American honors and secured five Pac-12 Championship titles on her way to being named Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2016.

Representing Team USA, Jaide competed professionally for seven years and shifted her focus to the open 400 meters. Jaide became a World Championship Gold Medalist, Pan American Games Gold Medalist, 2x NACAC Championship Gold Medalist and record-holder, and 2x World Relays Silver Medalist.

Beyond athletics, Jaide has built a nearly decade-long career in graphic design and marketing, balancing full-time creative work while competing at the highest levels of sport. Her experience spans brand development, design leadership, and creative strategy across sports, education and lifestyle industries.

At Parity, Jaide is excited to bridge her two passions – sport and design – by amplifying the stories of women athletes through creative and impactful brand partnerships.
