MINJI RO

Co-Founder

“We want to pay billions of dollars to pro women athletes, build the ultimate team, and be one of the best places to work. Who else is doing that?”

  • No-code devotee
  • Mom to dog and twins

“NBA vs. WNBA: The Pay Disparity in Professional Basketball.”

It may have started as Minji’s undergraduate thesis, penned as a senior at Northwestern University. But it reflected a lifelong love of the sport – and a budding passion for making it more equitable.

At Parity, she combines those passions with the business acumen and leadership skills she earned through 12 years as a top performer on Wall Street. During her tenure at Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Bank of America Merril Lynch, Minji worked tirelessly to open more opportunities for women and the LGBTQ+ community in finance. Off Wall Street, she has interned for the Chicago Sky, served as commissioner of the NYC Gay Basketball League and launched the Associate Board for Athlete Ally, which seeks to end homophobia and transphobia in sport.

Today, Minji helps elite athletes become their own best advocates. She lives in the New York City suburbs with her wife Phillippa, their twins, and their schnauzer Harry.
