Parity Week by Gainbridge: Investing in the Future of Women’s Sports is a nationwide movement to celebrate and amplify girls and women through sports and education grants. Gainbridge®, Parity, and Women’s Sports Foundation® have awarded $172,000 in grants to 22 deserving organizations that support girls and women through sports and education.

Gainbridge®, Parity, and Women’s Sports Foundation® will award $150,000 in grants to deserving organizations that support girls and women through sports and education.
GRANT RECIPIENTS
From over 150 applications, the below organizations and athletes were selected. They represent 13 states and Washington, D.C., and 14 sports. Each grant recipient will receive $5,000 in honor of Gainbridge® ambassador, sports icon, and social justice pioneer Billie Jean King, who started WSF® 50 years ago with a $5,000 check.

In honor of Billie Jean King’s passion for tennis and commitment to furthering women’s sports, Gainbridge® and WSF® are also awarding one special $50,000 grant to the Junior Tennis Foundation (the charitable arm of USTA Eastern) to help resurface tennis courts and establish community tennis programming at the Eisenhower Park in Long Island, New York. Eisenhower Park is meaningful to King and WSF® as it was a longtime headquarters of WSF® from 1986-2017 before the Foundation’s offices relocated to New York City.
The final Parity Week by Gainbridge® grant for 2024 was announced at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican. Group 1001 President and CEO Dan Towriss presented Gainbridge® ambassador Caitlin Clark with the 22nd grant for $22,000 to the Caitlin Clark Foundation.

In honor of Billie Jean’s $5,000 check that she started the Women’s Sports Foundation® with 50 years ago, Gainbridge® and Parity will award multiple grants of at least $5,000 each, totaling $100,000, to deserving girls and women’s sports and education organizations around the country.
Additionally, Gainbridge® and the Women's Sports Foundation® will award a $50,000 grant in Billie Jean King’s honor to the Junior Tennis Foundation, the charitable arm of USTA Eastern, to help repair tennis courts and establish community tennis programming at Eisenhower Park in Long Island, New York.

In 2023, Gainbridge® launched Parity Week to celebrate the past, present, and future of women’s sports. For the second year, Parity Week will include two major sporting events sponsored by Gainbridge®: The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican LPGA Tour event; and the Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge®, known as the World Cup of Women’s Tennis. This year, the flagship events will amplify the larger movement throughout the month of November.

Parity Athletes are encouraged to apply for grants to organize a camp or clinic in their sports, giving aspiring female sports stars an unforgettable opportunity and experience. Priority will be given to events that take place during November 2024.
